This Southport Family Session was gorgeous! Not only is this family beautiful on the outside, but they’re truly a beautiful family on the inside too! These adorable kiddos were so well behaved, posing for the camera and showing off their adorable smiles and love for one another. And, capturing their family was such a pleasure.

All of the images from this session are beautiful, but I think my favorites are the candid moments. With every session, I always capture a mix of posed images with everyone looking at the camera. But, I always turn these posed moments into candid ones too. After I get a family into a pose, I’ll get them to interact with one another with tickles, joking around, hugs and kisses. And, it’s in those moments that a family shows off their true self and all the love for one another is shown. As a photographer, I live for capturing these sweet candid moments!

Southport Family Sessions are some of my favorite to capture because the location has so much beauty to offer. It’s beauty combined with the gorgeous light about an hour before sunset is always the best time of the day to shoot. Whether it’s spring, summer, fall or winter, I find Southport’s sunny days gives off such warm and beautiful light!
