Zac & Kasey’s Engagement Session
The name “Lover’s Leap” is absolutely fitting for this sweet engagement session! This Connecticut engagement session took place at Lover’s Leap State Park in New Milford. I hadn’t photographed (or even been to) this location before, but I was eager to check it out. Plus, Kasey assured me that it was a gorgeous spot, and she was totally right! Photographing engagement sessions in State Parks just may be my new go-to!
Kasey & Zac are getting married in June 2022, so this spring was the perfect time to get in their engagement session. Luckily for us, the rain held out and the temperature was perfect. Also, one of my favorite things about my couples – Kasey & Zac brought awesome details for their session! From blankets, to a sentimental bouquet (that Zac gave her years ago and Kasey dried out!), to the perfect ring box that Zac got for Kasey – I loved every single detail (and it’s great inspiration for future brides and grooms!). Bonus: You can check out the ring box Zac got for Kasey at The Mrs Box!
We started out the session at the big red bridge, and then made our way towards a lookout. Kasey told me about the lookout ahead of time and that it was sentimental to her and Zac. As we made our way, we chatted and I got to know Kasey & Zac better. They’re both so sweet (a common theme with all of my couples!), and I loved the relaxed and fun vibe they both have. Big bonus, as you can tell from the photos, they’re both naturals in front of the camera and SO photogenic!
I can’t wait for their wedding day in 2022! Congratulations Kasey & Zac!
