I think it’s pretty obvious from the photos – the natural light from this session was absolutely stunning and Emily is absolutely beautiful!
I had such a great time photographing Emily, and I was so excited for this session because Emily is my friend’s daughter! When we first moved to Connecticut back in 2015, Emily’s Mom (Carrie) was one of the first people I met and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. She’s one of the sweetest people and always has a huge smile on her face every time I see her, and her daughter was just as sweet and so polite too!
We planned her session right at sunset at Waveny Park in New Canaan, Connecticut. Emily came in a light and flowy white dress and with her hair and make up done perfectly (I love the natural look!). We started out taking some photos along Waveny mansion and then we made our way to the fields just as the sun was going down (my faovrite part!). It’s been on my bucketlist to capture someone in these fields for awhile now, and Emily was totally up for sitting in the fields, regardless of what bugs may have been around. It was. totally. worth. it!
Check out the images below for some major senior portrait inspo!
(Side note: While editing, I totally realized that Emily looks like Kate Hudson!)
